Research study measuring coaching effectiveness with ai
For the International coaching Federation (ICF) Mentor Coaching consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.
According to a 2020 study by ICF and IHC, there are three main reasons why coaching still faces obstacles in organizations:
Lack of senior leaders support (52%)
Lack of Budget (45%)
Inability to measure impact (38%)
Continuous coaching skills development is a key factor in coaching effectiveness, consistency and measurable impact. The focus of this Research study is specifically "How AI based tools can improve coaching effectiveness." By supporting coaches in acquiring evidence-based feedback, could we find a solution to the main obstacles?
The study will give us the opportunity to observe scientifically how coaching can benefit from a conscious collaboration with Artificial Intelligence. The more technology enters the workplace, the more the human factor becomes relevant. Not only coaches, but clients and organizations will benefit from developing a coaching culture that can rely on consistent long term results.
Taking part in the study
The research study is open to the international community of coaches. All coaches who coach in English are invited to take part and benefit from a new understanding of Artificial Intelligence in coaching. Not only coaches, but also individuals clients, enterprise and coaching schools will benefit from the outcome of the research.
You have two options:
Take part in the study as Coach;
Join the Research Team.
In both cases you will contribute to produce evidence based proof of the connection between Coaching and Science. You will also be able to stand out in a growing competitive market as a coach open to innovation. In addition, you will receive CEE and free license subscription or mentoring support, according to your involvement. For the Research Team, which is more actively involved in the project development, we are planning extra benefits to be discussed.
Criteria Coaches who take part in the study We are looking for coaches who hold an ICF credential, or a certification from another entity and newly trained coaches ready to launch their activity as internal or external coach. You will be asked to coach at least one client for a minimum of 6 sessions and receive AI evidence based feedback.
Research Team We are looking for experienced coaches/mentors holding a PCC or MCC credential. Besides coaching one or more clients, your will participate in the development of the Research project.
